admin May 1, 2020

Background

Dr. Chris Hart is a relationship psychologist who works between the UK and Kenya. He is also a broadcaster and writer who writes a column in the Sunday Nation, True Love magazine and online. He offers help on all aspects of relationships, both within the family and work environments, for example dating, marriage, family conflict, motivation and work-life balance, together with related issues such as anxiety and social skills.

What We Discuss with Dr. Chris

  • How did you choose to be a psychologist?
  • What is the difference between counseling and coaching?
  • What are the issues that you commonly get from your clients? Men. Women. Problems common to both.
  • What do boys need to know about manhood?
  • And much more

“A story has no beginning or end: arbitrarily one chooses that moment of experience

My Takeaways

My takeaways from this conversation was

  1. Build social skills:
  2. Men’s world is a hierachy: It’s a world of competition and you have to build your skills in order to thrive
  3. Learn how to talk to strangers: Your mother told you not to talk to strangers. New opportunities are available through strangers. If you don’t know how to talk to strangers, how can you get hired, get new clients, establish relationships?

Please share one takeaway that you got in the comments below, or on the platform you listened to this podcast. Thank you
